1975 BMW Alpina B2 3.0 CS

An opportunity to acquire a superb, factory original, unrestored and documented BMW Alpina B2 3.0 CS. One of less than 40 units built.

First registered in Germany in 1975 and converted to Alpina B2 3.0 CS specification in June 1978 as certified by Alpina.

Showing 82.000 kms from new and in exemplary original condition, showing no evidence of rust or past accident damage.

Alpina conversion specification:

Installation of an Alpina B2 engine delivering 230 HP with three Solex 40/45 DDH carbs, Alpina cylinderhead, new 300º Alpina camshaft, special pistons, handmade valve work, special exhaust, new ventilated brakes and Alpina cushioning diaphragm with Bilstein shock absorbers.

An interesting detail is that the rev counter red line is now starting at 7.200 revs instead of the 6.400 limit of the standard E9’s, a subtle indicator of the enhanced performance.

In order to lighten the car, the front bumper was removed and the rear replaced by a fibreglass one (the rear bumper is currently steel), alloy wheels were mounted as well as Scheel front bucket seats with Alpina fabric. (17 Kg. lighter than the originals).

Fast and exhilarating to drive and will easily out perform a CSL Batmobile.

One of less than 40 units built, highly collectable and not to be missed. Please contact for further information.
